The course ‘Start-ups and Ecosystems for Innovation’ allows students to learn about global and local ecosystems for innovation, to understand how they work and how they can be evaluated to stimulate entrepreneurship in already existing realities.

In addition, it offers insight into the strategic aspects of identifying, evaluating and growing new business ideas that can be developed within such ecosystems.

In particular, the course covers the following topics:

  • Definition of entrepreneurial ecosystem and role in start-up development
  • Identifying key stakeholders in an entrepreneurial ecosystem
  • Start-up financing
