EmpowerED: Career Readiness Lab is an orientation workshop, which takes place at the end of a CREO-LAB course. It is aimed at increasing students’ self-awareness of their professional knowledge, skills and aptitudes, so that they can face the labor market with greater confidence.
The workshop focuses on empowering students to understand their own knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial attitudes, providing them with tools to promote themselves effectively in the professional world. By the end of the workshop, students will be able to:
- Developing one’s awareness through scientifically validated and reliable psychological tests
- Understanding the importance of self-awareness in career choice
- Enhancing critical thinking skills by assessing one’s personal capabilities and filtering job opportunities
- Developing the ability to align one’s entrepreneurial strengths with job descriptions
- Assessing the effectiveness of personal branding in job applications
- Analysing CVs from a human resources perspective
The module includes synchronous and asynchronous activities, with individual coaching and teamwork.
