The ‘New Business Venturing’ course exposes students to an international context, engaging them in the conception and construction phases of a new business venture. It focuses mainly on the following topics:
- generation of ideas and identification of opportunities, both from a theoretical and practical point of view,
- identification of target customers,
- business modelling,
- market research for start-ups,
- financing,
- growth strategies,
- effective presentations (pitching).
The objective is to raise participants’ self-awareness of entrepreneurial dynamics, providing them with the necessary skills to acquire customers and resources, both financial and non-financial, and to identify value creation mechanisms within start-ups.
